HISTORICAL ASPECT OF LEGITIMACY

Abstract

The article deals with legitimacy in historical and social aspects, paying attention
to the connection of legitimacy with the law-making activities of the state. The problems
of legality of the country's history are consistently investigated: in the Old Russian
state (IX–XII centuries), the Sobornoye Ulozheniye of 1649, legislative acts of the Russian
Empire until the end of XVII – beginning of XX centuries.
