Abstract

The article analyzes the problem of realization of the right to reliable information
about the state of the environment, through the study of the concept of information on
the state of the environment and the allocation of its species. The necessity for special
rules on liability for concealment or distortion of reliable information about the state of
the environment. With this purpose, the characteristic of public danger of this crime; the
contents of the elements of this crime; the ratio of the composition of the General compounds
covered by the criminal law. The study proposes specific provisions of article
237 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation, which will allow you to more effectively
protect the relations to implement the constitutional right to the access to accurate
information about the state of the environment, ensuring environmental safety, protection
of life and health of persons residing in the territory of Russia.
