ON THE ROLE OF THE STATE AND LAW IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF RUSSIA

Abstract

The article treats the problem of the increasing role of the state and law
in economic development of Russia. The emphasis is laid on the one-sided
structure of the Russian economy, its source basis show that the reliance on
market economy only is not even the last century but the century before
last. The author believes that the Russian economy should bring together
self-regulating market, state control and legal regulation of economy. It is
the state that is susceptible to anticipate and act with more flexibility to regulate
economic processes using legal methods, set up a proportion between
individual industries, and encourage scientific research and technological
development.
