INFORMATION ASPECT OF FEDERAL EXECUTIVE AUTHORITIES ACTIVITY

Abstract

The article discusses how to perform the functions of federal executive authorities
using information technology as they are one of the main sources of
information. Particular attention is paid to the interaction of the authorities
and the public through mass media. Methods of implementation of interaction
between the authorities and public with mandatory use of information technology
are considered by providing access to information about government activities,
emergency provision of relevant information, provision of public services.
The article analyzes the legislation regulating information work of the authorities.
The principles of access to information about government are shown. Negative
examples of action and inaction of the authorities in the field of awareness
are given.
