Abstract

The article is devoted to consideration of basic categories of electoral right of the Russian Federation. Essential transformation of a subject of the electoral right of the Russian Federation that leads to the increase of social importance of elections in Russia is proved in the article. The author analyzes the elements of electoral right which influence transformation of its subject, namely, borders of legal regulation; subject structure; extension of the list of elections in Russia and others.
