Abstract

In this article the author analyzes the influence of the Bolsheviks’ theoretical
views on formation of the Soviet system of law enforcement authorities, legality
and possibility of socialism in one country. Further development of K. Marx's doctrine
on dictatorship of the proletariat and revolutionary violence is considered by
V.I. Lenin. The author comes to the conclusion that theoretical basis for practical
activity of the Bolsheviks in days of new economic policy is the understanding that
the state of a transition period is dictatorship of the proletariat, it is performed by
vanguard of the labouring class that is the communist party, and retaliatory bodies
of the state are the bodies which implement the will of the party.
