to the different levels of intimacy on which narration is conducted. The categories of readers and levels
of privacy vary in the set of topics, intertextual links and discourses used. The author of the article
illustrates her reflections on the examples of several personal diaries of 1960-th — the beginning of
the 1980s., both published and unpublished to date.
