His tory of interaction of the Repub lic of Armenia and international organizations in the field of culture at the abroad of the XX—XXI centuries

Abstract

The article analyzes the cooperation of the Republic of Armenia with a number of international
organizations in the cultural sphere. The relevance of the stated topic of the study is explained by the
fact that Armenia is rich in its cultural values and monuments, which are many centuries old, and which

are not only cultural attractions of the country, but also of international significance. The peculiarities
of the cultural policy of the Republic of Armenia are shown. The legislative base of the Republic
of Armenia is characterized, allowing to cooperate with international organizations in the cultural
sphere. The most important projects on the preservation and dissemination of the cultural heritage of
Armenia, implemented with the help of the international community, are being considered.
