The implementation of priority national projects in the mirror of public opinion of the Ural federal district
Abstract
The article discusses the public opinion of the Ural Federal District (UFD) on the implementation
of priority national projects basing on materials of representative surveys. The most disadvantaged
regions in terms of the state of social sphere and region’s economy sectors have been revealed. Despite
some problems of social and economic development most UFD regions show “positive dynamics” in
public satisfaction with the state of affairs in the region of residence. The most acute problem for the
UFD regions is cultural capital growth, as the modern economy requires not only having a specific
qualification, but also mastering the rules of modern urban culture, in order to combine indicators of
culture and professional qualification, thus forming an indicator of human capital assets.
