Images Sevastopol in musical works by soviet authors

Abstract

The article analyzes the main pieces of music created by Soviet authors, which was touched on the subject of Sevastopol. Using comparative historical and chronological methods identified the stages of formation, “musical-poetic” way of Sevastopol and the direction of its evolution. The author argues that in the cultural and historical memory of the Soviet people “musical-poetic image” of Sevastopol was a synthetic way and included an image of the main components of the walled city, the image of the port city and the image of the Russian city.
