System of art-space coordinates in creanivity оf V. N. Chelintsova (1906—1981)

Abstract

The author studies the artist V. N. Chelintsova’s creativity marked by the search for unity big modern style. It reflects the artistic and plastic art vectors of the North, East, South, Volga and Urals regions. The analysis of the internal links reveals versatile talent of the artist. Author of the study examines the variety works of graphics, painting, sculpture created by Chelintsova in the space of domestic art of the twentieth century. The main emphasis in the article is placed on the art of the book, the most important section of V. N. Chelintsova creativity. The researcher isolates the oriental component in this section and raises the problem of exploring the artistic and theoretical legacy of the artist. The author introduced into turnover the archival sources of Saratov and Chelyabinsk Archives.
