Increasing 12ChN15/18 engine start reliability at low temperatures using sytems of intake air heating

Abstract

The article presents results of the diesel 12CHN15/18, equipped with an intake air heating system and without nozzle heater of intake air, cold test in a climatic chamber and formulated recommendations concerning the improvement of the tools to facilitate cold start design characteristics.
