STUDY OF THE INFLUENCE OF TYPE WEAVE FOR STRENGTH OF THE TEXTILE ARMOR PANEL AT THE LOCAL IMPACT

Abstract

Results of the simulation of the dynamic interaction between the indenter and textile
armor panel with the possibility of destruction of yarn, and also without the destruction yarn are considered. Textile armor panel has different types of weave and
sizes of fabric. Verification of the model and compared with experimental data is
made. Mechanical properties of aramid yarn defined.
