Abstract

The article is dedicated to the problem of using in Russia the world trend in the sphere of energy efficiency – the management of the demand in power consumption. The article proves the possibility of using the mechanism of price-responsive energy demand management at industrial enterprises under the modern operating conditions of the wholesale and retail electricity market. In order to increase the speed and effectiveness of the implementation of domestic industrial enterprises with the price-responsive energy demand management, a three-level model of managing the personnel involved in the process is developed. The proposed model includes all three levels of management: the company's top management, the team of managers implementing projects of the price-responsive energy demand management, and employees of the Chief power engineer’s department at the industrial enterprise. In the formation of the model such modern management methods as the assessment of the head’s investment profile, portfolio approach, key performance indicators, etc. are used. Practical relevance of the research is in the possibility of their use at the industrial enterprises which implement projects of price-responsive energy demand management, aimed at raising the level of motivation, the speed of implementation and the volume of the energy demand management’s effectiveness.
