ECONOMIC AND STATISTICAL MODELING OF COST OF HUMAN CAPITAL IN RUSSIA USING M.M. KRITSKIY’S APPROACH

Abstract

The article considers and realizes human capital assessment of the Russian population over the period 2007–2014 based on the M.M. Kritskiy’s approach, taking into account the structure of the population by age, the value of total consumption fund, employment structure, including the number of people engaged in the production of consumer services, engaged in the material production and the number of unemployed people in production sphere, and population life expectancy. The analysis of obtained values of total consumption fund, total fund of consumer services and productive capacity of the population, annual amortization, assessment of human capital by age groups is conducted. The way the human capital assessment has been changing over the period, as well as the way the value of human capital is unevenly distributed by different socio-demographic groups are illustrated.
