Abstract

The article concentrates on the importance of corporate culture as an internal mechanism of corporate
governance for Russian companies in the modern context. In terms of information transparency of Russian
companies it’s shown that many of them have a significant gap from the best practices of corporate governance
when it comes to implementation of declared values. Some measures for the development of corporate
culture in these companies are proposed.
