Abstract

With growing competition and the need to enhance the competitiveness of the national economy, the assessment of entrepreneurial potential is becoming increasingly relevant. The development of entrepreneurship is a key factor in economic growth; therefore, an objective and comprehensive evaluation of the entrepreneurial potential of innovative companies is essential for formulating effective state policies to support small and medium-sized enterprises. The hypothesis of the research is that existing methods for assessing entrepreneurial potential need to be refined and adapted to the specifics of innovative technological entrepreneurship. The study undertakes a comparative analysis of methods for assessing entrepreneurial potential, with an emphasis on their applicability to innovative and technological entrepreneurship. It identifies and systematizes these assessment methods, revealing their strengths and weaknesses, and evaluates their application to innovative technological entrepreneurship. The development of this topic will allow the creation of a methodology for comprehensive assessment of entrepreneurial potential, based on a multidimensional comparative analysis of a wide range of factors influencing entrepreneurial potential: personal characteristics, financial-economic performance indicators, and external conditions.
