Abstract

In modern conditions, a green economy based on the use of innovative "green" technologies, energy saving and alternative energy sources, eco-development and ecological construction, is a new vector of sustainable development. It is the green economy that is able to ensure economic development, increase the well-being of people, reduce social inequality without increasing the anthropogenic load on the environment. Despite the growth of scientific publications on the topic of green construction and the gradual realization that it is impossible to improve the quality of life of Russians without the green component, the issues of analyzing the interrelations between the investment attractiveness of regions, the level of their ecological and economic index and the development of green building remain unresolved. The article clarifies the axioms of the green economy and its essential features, analyzes the tools needed for the transition to a green economy, the role of green building in implementing the concept of green building, the main trends of green building. A statistical analysis of green building and eco-development in Russia for 2011-2017 was carried out. A hypothesis about the existence of the relationship between the development of eco-development in the subjects of the Ural Federal District and the level of their environmental-economic index and investment attractiveness has been put forward and studied.
