SMART ECONOMIST AS AN ELEMENT OF A COMPANY'S VALUE ENHANCEMENT

Abstract

Various approaches to determining the value of a company are analyzed in the article. Analysis of modern Russian and foreign methods and techniques for assessing a company’s value and its capital is given. Factors that form economic value added of an economic entity are considered. The role of managerial staff of economic service in a company’s value enhancement is shown. The authors substantiate the qualities that specialists of the company’s economic services must possess. Analyzing the new qualitative characteristics of specialists working at economic services allowed the authors to formulate a new category of SMART-economist. In conclusion of this research, the authors showed a connection between the improvement in quality characteristics of a SMART economist and the value of a company. The article provides approaches to training SMART-economists in the frameworks of higher education. The experience in application of this technique is shown by the example of an elite training group of the SUSU Higher School of Economics. The significance of new-format economists under conditions of economy’s transition to the modern qualitative level, determined by requirements of Industry 4.0 and digital economy, is justified.
