Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of regional development for the provision of telecommunication services. Providing services of documentary telecommunication allows us to remove restrictions of access to television, Internet, telephone (mobile and landline), radio. The dynamics of the Internet access for the supply of the citizens with the service is considered; the time interval of the transition of services from the beginning of mass consumption to saturation is determined. The consumption parameters of the Internet traffic and its cost are given, the comparison of the consumption of services by the population and legal entities in all regions of the country is given. The presence of the semi-permanent level of consumption of services by legal entities is revealed. The quantitative indexes of consumption and the cost of the Internet traffic, which allow us to compare the level of the digital divide on the Federal districts and subjects of the country, are highlighted. Insignificant difference between more than 90% of the subjects in terms of consumption is revealed; the difference overlaps during the year. The regions of the country, where the target building of communication lines is needed, are defined.
