THE ANALYSIS OF EXISTING METHODS FOR ASSESSING THE ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF INVESTMENTS IN INFORMATION SYSTEMS AT THE PRELIMINARY STAGE

Abstract

The paper justifies a need for updating the existing methods of preliminary appraisal of investments in information systems. Also, the classification of existing methods is given and their assessment criteria are specified. The article presents the analysis of available methods and their disadvantages are emphasized. The way of their elimination is suggested.
