CLASSIFICATION OF PROJECT RISK TYPES FOR ENTERPRISES

Abstract

Risk is a one of the most complicated economic phenomenon, therefore, analysis of its complexity and
classification of its elements are being actively worked on. There are lots of various definitions of risk and
classifications of risks; at the same time, there is a number of contradictions resulting in difficulties in application
of offered tools. Investment is one of the most important areas where said problems are crucial. In
practice, identification, classification and evaluation of investment risks are performed at the stage of identification
of investment project risks. Accordingly, the article presents the author’s multi-dimensional matrix
for the project risk classification which is composed by combinative classification method based on manageability.
