REGIONAL COMPETITIVENESS: MAIN APPROACHES TO DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

This article presents a research on the increase of competitiveness of regions in modern conditions, and on the methods of increasing the competitive advantages. As scientific research methods, the following are used in the article: methods of theoretical cognition, general logical methods and research techniques. The result of the work is the analysis and substantiation of the most promising areas of increasing the competitive advantages of the region. The scope of applying the results is that the article expands the scientific field of research concerning software tools for increasing the competitive advantages of the region, and identifying the areas of economic regulation. As a result of the study, conclusions are drawn about the priority software tools for increasing competitive advantages in modern economic conditions.
