Abstract

The article discusses the solution to the problem of integration of information systems from the point of view of the theory of sets and the theory of categories. The classification of the possible types of integration processes in information systems. The role of integrated information systems to increase performance. The issues of data integration are discussed with regard to their security. IP integration simplifies the data protection mechanism, so as to organize the defense of the uniform mechanism is easier than to organize the defense of the distributed elements of the business process. Identified the main types of problems encountered in system integration, provides ways of resolving them.
