Method of determining the technical condition of locomotive diesel generators

Abstract

Technical regulation of diesel fuel consumption by locomotives is impossible without taking into account technical condition of its diesel generator. Accounting criteria of the technical condition in operation is diesel fuel consumption per unit of work performed. Diesel generator status control is made at the rheostat tests station in accordance with the “Russian Railways” JSC guidelines.
