USE OF THE ACCIDENT RISK ASSESSMENT METHOD FOR QUALITATIVE EVALUATION OF CONSTRUCTION OBJECTS BY STATE CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION SPECIALISTS

Abstract

The article describes the possibility of improving the quality of the work of state construction
supervision specialists using the methodology for assessing and predicting the accident risk of
erected buildings and structures on the basis of research works carried out at the “Construction” department.
In the article one can find the statistics of accidents for the period from 2010-2015 and the
description of the problems encountered by the employees of the state construction supervision during
the inspections. There are some examples of the level regulation of design construction safety
of a brick 10-storey residential building and a 4-storey shopping center building with a metal frame.
A technique is proposed that makes it possible to classify buildings according to the accident risk,
the degree of durability and safety. Such a classification can be used for certification and insurance
of buildings and structures.
