INTERACTIVE VIRTUAL PROTOTYPING IN ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

Abstract

Based on the results of research the peculiar features of the use of interactive virtual prototyping systems in the design of architectural environment are disclosed. The most evolving directions of com­puter modeling in architectural design are revealed. Basic types of modern virtual prototyping are giv­en. The aspect of interactivity in architectural design, presentation of architectural projects and the use of augmented reality systems is considered. An example of a physically correct representation of an architectural project is given. Trends in the development of virtual reality systems in the design of arc­hitectural environment are revealed
