FORMATION OF INTERMODAL TRANSPORT HUBS AND STATIONS IN BAKU AND BAKU AGGLOMERATION

Abstract

The paper defines appellation of intermodal passenger transport hab and station, represents urban ierarchie of these facilities, analyses multimodal transport system of Ba­ku agglomeration and it’s core, considers infrastuctural integration of alternative transpor­tation modes into current planning stucture of passenger transport habs and stations lo­cated in Baku metropolitan area, covers implementation strategies of development con­cept focused on multimodal transport system of the Azerbaijan Republic’s Capital Region.
