DUALITY OF THE ARCHITECTURAL LIGHT ENVIRONMENT TRANSFORMATION PROCESSES IN THE INFORMATION SOCIETY

Abstract

The article determines the role of architectural light environment while creating comfortable
living conditions. The transformation of connections between functions of lightning in the modern
city, increasing interpenetration and dependencies, contradictions of functional support are revealed.The review of peculiarities when forming public lightning in the information society is given. The

processes of creating new relations between psychophysiological comfort, safety and a graphic and
aesthetic component of the environment are considered. In a specific context the duality of light and
color organization of elements and systems of modern urban design from the position of safety and
comfortable architectural light environment taking into consideration the graphic and artistic context
are shown. The need for development of succession keys is justified.
