DEFINITION OF MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF TRANSIENT PROCESSES IN GAS PIPELINES WITH AN ACCOUNT OF NON-ISOTHERMALITY AND FLOW COMPRESSIBILITY
Abstract
The article suggests a mathematical model of transient processes in gas pipelines, explicitly
determining the distribution of temperatures along the length of a gas pipeline. The author
gives a brief description of differential equations system derivation connecting main parameters
of the gas flow. The structure of derived equations is best of all applied to the following
application of numerical schemes.
