ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES OF ROAD SECTOR

Abstract

It is devoted to the solution of technical issues to improve environmental situation on the
roads. Basic grounds for environmental degradation on the roads and in the city are given. Main factors
influencing the process of compaction, features of technology for placement of road-building
materials are considered; engineering solution for high-density structures made of composite materials
is given. The device for a good quality placement of road-building materials, reducing the
amount of harmful emissions (fuel combustion products by ICE) during operation of rollers with a
smaller number of passes is considered.
