SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF AN AGRO-INDUSTRIAL CITY BASED ON ENERGY SAVING TECHNOLOGIES (ELEV, DENMARK)

Abstract

The article considers the problem of sustainable development on the example of agroindustrial
city Elev in Denmark. It includes the scientific justification for urban development
structure of the project of the city Elev, based on vertical agro-industrial facilities. Innovative
features have a function of energy saving, waste processing and purification of drinking water.
Methodological aspects of urban design can be successfully applied to small towns in Russia.
