Abstract

The condition of equality of distortions on the inner and outer surfaces of the walls of
the shell is taken as the basis of simulation model. In contrast to the existing methods of
calculation of thermal stress, the use of the suggested model excludes the calculation of the
bending of a design element due to the temperature drop over the thickness of its walls
and the reaction moment which makes calculations easier
