ANALYSIS OF THE LIMIT STATE OF MOUNTING BRACKETS FOR METAL SIDING PANELS
Abstract
The deformation of the mounting bracket for metal siding panels and flexible metal
roofing is considered by the finite element method. We obtain the limiting values of the
weight and wind load by criteria of the start of material plastic flow and of limiting equilibrium
state. On the basis of the analysis of kinetics of strain stress state a new variant of
the structure, which has a high load capacity and less labor intensive, is given.
