TESTS OF ECCENTRICALLY COMPRESSED REINFORCED CONCRETE ELEMENTS STRENGTHENED BY CASES USING SELF-COMPACTING STEEL FIBER CONCRETE
Abstract
The problem of increasing the bearing capacity of reinforced concrete columns when reconstructing
buildings and structures of different purpose is still acute. In terms of introduction of innovation
materials into construction there is a need for development of new construction solutions of
strengthening the load-bearing structures. The paper presents the results of experimental tests of the
effect on strength and deformability of compressed reinforced structures like concrete in cases and
eccentricity of load application.
Keywords: self-compactingsteelfiberconcrete (SCSFC), eccentricity, case, fiber, hybrid reinforcement,
self-compacting concrete.
