REVIEW OF THE BIM REGULATORY DOCUMENTATION IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract

The review is devoted to the issues of legislative regulation and normative support of building information modeling (BIM). The article gives brief information about the development of BIM in the Russian Federation. The list of national BIM standards and their brief content and scope are giv-en. The article also indicates the standards that are being developed. The legislative strategy is de-scribed in terms of introducing building information modeling for the modernization of the con-struction industry. A list of legislative acts is provided with a summary of the main provisions and indication of the dates of entry into force. The goals and structure of the classifier of construction resources, introduced for the digitalization of design and construction objects, are described. The ar-ticle materials will be useful to all participants in the construction market, since BIM technology covers the full life cycle of construction projects.
